Saw this sofa on the Hancock and Moore Instagram feed and went to the store to take a look as we had never sat on a Hyde Park Sofa with down seats
Observations and comparisons to our Authors Chair in Weston Cane Burnished:
-I was worried that the back cushions being loose would squeak as much as the seat of our chair, which would possibly be too much squeaking, but no...just the end seat cushions rubbing against the arm rest made a squeaking sound, and minimally so
-Is that a Hyde Park thing or just a couch versus chair thing?
-this hyde park leather was so soft and almost didn't feel burnished
-is this to be expected when the piece is a couch vs a chair? or is that due to the build style of the Amari sofa
-Finally, Do you recommend down back cushions with down seat cushions? Or could we get Standard seat backs with down seat cushions?
-we found the down seat backs to be a bit squishy or less supportive than we would want...but is that a no no to mix the two?
This brownie burnished was just beautiful
Leather friction noise or squeaking varies from piece to piece. I find the Moore &Giles #33 cream does an excellent job at quieting any noise.
You can get down seatS only, and stay with standard fiber fill backs. The are priced a la carte.
