Default Best way to repair a small rip

I have a small rip in one of the seat cushions on my H&M sofa. It's going to be replaced, but I will still be using it until the new furniture arrives. What's the best way to repair it? so it does not get any worse.

I can't tell how large that is, usually its best to place something like a Dime next to that to give a sense or reference. If this is on a seat cushion and all the way through, and no wider than 1/8":

Remove the core and flip the casing inside out. On the BACKSIDE of the casing which you just flipped out, put a piece of duct tape on the tear. DO NOT put tape on the finished side of the leather. Wear some latex gloves and use some Super Glue Gel to bond the leather back together. Did you know Super Glue was originally developed by the US Army to seal battlefield wounds? What works on skin works on leather. Do not do this barehanded or you will be stuck to the leather.

Restuff the core, and if the casing looks good, you're done. If you want to take it to the next level and fill the crevice, use some Elmer's household white glue and lay in the cut until level. this you can wipe off with your finger. Then use some craft paint in the color and a tiny brush and touch it up.

It's about 2". Step 1 is done. I need to get some super glue gel for step 2.

    Thank you!
