    Default 1908 Dining room set

Can anyone help me identify this 11 piece dining room set? An older friend of mine has had this for 50 years and is the 3rd or 4th owner. All I know is it was made in 1908 and is Honduran Mahogany. 8 Chairs, Chippendale style, 5 foot round table, leaded glass hutch and large buffet. See Pictures. thanks very much.

If you are looking for valuation, I can tell you those are machine-made and have no particularly collectible or significant resale value.

    Thank you for the response.
Machine made? How is that determined?

Picking up on subtle clues from the photos. The table top has a belt sanded surface, the back edge of the chippendale chair vertical supports are sharp edged, not rounded over if they were craftsmen-made. Ditto the chair splats. Chairs are not mortise and tenon but dowel-jointed, Ball and claw feet are sharp-edged which is how they come off a duplicator machine. That sort of thing. The photo of the drawer is interesting however, that's an English dovetail (not American) and that does look hand done, though I cannot see the scribe marks. Fine dovetail pins like that show its probably English, turn of the Century done in a mechanized shop that employed some handwork.

Thank you for taking the time to address this. Much appreciated. I'll see if I can get some pics of any manufacturer stamps or markings under the drawers or table.
