Default High/Low Color Tones in Darker H&M Leathers

Is it safe to assume that the high/low tonal effects you see in some H&M leathers (I'm thinking Hutton, Piazza, Coast in particular) are much less noticeable in the darker colors like bark, mocha, ebony, mink? Seems to be that way in the swatches but not sure how that applies to a constructed piece of furniture.

Not at all. Usually its the opposite, the darker colors have MORE high/lone tones and less in the lighter leathers.

Thanks for the response. I had seen samples of some darker colors in the Class I/Class II lines (Piazza Mocha, Hutton Bark) and they looked relatively mono-toned. Must have been the lighting or that my eyes were playing tricks on me.

It's the small samples, you can't get a sense of the high/low effects when seeing a swatch, that's one of the main reasons I have a photo library here on the forum, so you can see pieces made up in a particular leather and how the effects show when fully made up.

Yes, the photo library is super helpful. Do you happen to have any photos of pieces made up in Hutton Bark that haven't been posted to the forum? I did a search and couldn't find any. I've narrowed down my choices of leathers and that's currently #1 on my list.

Everything I have is posted to the forum, would be of no benefit to have any kept privately!

I have a Woodbridge recliner in Hutton Ebony and do not see any variation in tone. Maybe I would if it was in bright sunlight, but in my house it is all one color. Really like the leather.
