Hello and thank you in advance.
I'll keep this simple for times sake; Just purchased a new home and we are in the process of "filling it up" and I am torn between two chairs that are complete opposites. It'll end up going in the living room and I want it to be a lounger and be comfortable.
The two I'm interested in are: Member Chair and Ottoman or the Author chair. I know the author chair gets lots of accolades but I'm also trying to see if the member chair is as comfortable or a good alternative.
Lastly. If there are other recommendations, I'm open to them as well.
Thanks again
Those are very different chairs! The Author sits lower and is very relaxed / cozy wide a wide footprint. The Member series is much more conventional. Comfort is subjective so no help there.

Thank you very much for the response. Do you by chance stock both in your store to where I could compare them? I don't live in Virginia but could make a trip if you have both.
Thanks again.
Sorry, I do not have either on the floor at this time. The Author will be relatively easy to find as its a program chair and popular, the Member will be much more difficult to locate a floor model of - as its not on any of the promotions.
