Default Hancock and Moore back tilt

Hi there, I am interested in the Chaparral recliner. Not only because it looks great, but it has a high seat back...my husband needs the total height minus the seat height to be at least 24 inches to be comfortable. (long torso I guess!) He also prefers a seat back that has a gentle backwards tilt. Can you offer any information on the tilt of the seat back for this recliner? All the other dimensions from the website look perfect, but I can't find any information on the tilt of the seat. Does H&M offer the option to customize to this extent? Finally, does H&M offer any rocker recliners? In my husband's perfect world, his recliner would also rock, but this isn't a deal-breaker. Thanks so much!

Sorry, that's a measurement that is not provided or spec'd (tilt angles). No customs available in that regard, its all locked in by the design and mechanism. Very few of their recliners are swivel/rockers (none are rockers only). Some of the Wall-Huggers can be fitted with a swivel tilt mechanism, the most popular one is the Austin that can be configured that way.

Thanks Duane! Does the swivel tilt allow you to rock backwards? My husband had a chance to sit in the Sami model, and while he liked it well enough thought it was a bit too straight up & down. We were wondering if the Chaparral might have more of a back tilt, but as you say there seems to be no info available on this to make the determination.

The only way to tell is to have them side by side for you to try out. The Sami does sit a bit more upright (when closed) than others, but I have not had the Chaparral model in my store to compare to.

All the swivel / tilts do allow for a rocking motion.
