Hancock & Moore # 5790-1 Schumaker Chair in Cameo Mocha Burnished

Just arrived in the store as a floor model, a Market Special (that means this one only at a reduced price). Cameo Mocha is an Italian Pull up leather that has been hand-burnished for effect, and is a GR 3 hide. Durable and good-looking in a pure aniline hide. Standard on this chair is the unique stitching on the front of the arm panels, hence the name Shumaker (shoe maker). This piece has the premium Denmark wood finish, an ultra down seat, and a special "Watch Band" leather gimp around the base of the chair. Nail trim is "S". The # 5790-1 sits with a roomy seat, and slight incline tilt in the back which has a nice firmness to it. I would not call this a slouch chair, however it does not sit you upright, either. A good reading chair! As in all the H&M pieces, tailoring is top notch as you can see by the photos.
