On the H&M website all of their leathers do not have complete descriptions listed. We are looking for leathers that have the qualities of a nubuck oil/wax pull up similar to the Grade 4 Custer leathers. Are there any other leathers that are have this type of quality? Are any of these leathers lighter?

There are no nubucks with an oil/wax characteristic that I am aware of. A nubuck is a pure aniline hide that has been sanded, and most all oil/wax leathers have that treatment in the top of the hide surface, so when you sand off the leather, the wax goes too.

Hi Duane,
I am posting this for those folks that may be looking for a leather that has oiled/wax qualities. Check out the Brigade Saddle, Grade 3. I just saw a sample in a store, and it is exactly what I was looking for. An unprotected leather that will mark easily for that worn in look and feel. It is similar to the Grade 4 Custer series of leathers, but when I had them (Brigade Saddle next to Custer Tobacco) side by side the Brigade (in my opinion) had slightly less of the oiled/waxed feel to it, so it felt lighter in weight and it was also lighter in color...but that could have been the sample. Check out my photo.
Additionally if you do a search for Brigade Saddle on this forum, someone did have a couch in that fabric.
