I am still looking for interesting ottoman options go go with the Cavalier Mocha Sofa. I am considering an animal print ottoman, and the only one that seems to go with the Cavalier Mocha, at least that I like, is the Cayman Coffee. Have you ever seen an entire ottoman in this? Would it be appropriate for use on an ottoman? If so, do you think it would be good in a tufted ottoman, or only an untufted? Last, do you know for sure if this is an embossed cow/steer hide? It says it is an unprotected leather, although it does not feel like one. The leather, even the back of the it, seems different than other leathers. I was considering the 057 Rogers Bench because the size is good and not too wide. If anyone has a piece done in this leather, I would love to see a picuture. Thanks!
Can they do tufted in scaled hides like that? I am not sure I have ever seen one. Also I believe that is a Grade 5 leather so it would be pricier (if that matters).
Well, yes, a grade 5 leather is going to be more. I don't know how much it will matter until I know how much more it is. This was my inspiration:

I am not sure if this leather will work as well or how it will wear.
I forgot I had already started a post about this, entittled "animal prints". Sorry, I should have continued under that post. The problem with the pictured ottoman is that the leather does not appear to be offered any more, I don't think it is the correct color for my sofa, and the plantation ottoman is a little deeper than I would like.
Embossed leathers wear exceeding well. No issues there.

Thanks, do you know if this is cow? I am assumimng it is not actual cayman, is that correct?
All the hides from H&M are either cow or buffalo hides.
