Re: Are Bradington-Young and Hancock & Moore realistic options
Yes and no. H&M and B-Y are leather houses, and geared up for that aspect. Both have about 400 fabrics, some of which are good but many are also (at least to my eye) unappealing. Very much a personal judgement of course, but I only see about 1/4 of the fabrics from either H&M or B-Y as viable. With H&M you can also use any Jessica Charles fabric on their pieces and they have a limited, but good, selection.
Taylor King is a company owned by the principals at H&M. While its a stand-alone company, it's a fabric house, and kept light on leathers so not to go head-to-head with H&M. They have 1,500 fabrics and most are excellent. Whereas I may like only 1/4 of the H&M textiles, I like about 90% of the T-K fabrics - they're that good. Some in the trade say they have the best overall fabric selection of anyone in the business.
