I'm currently looking at an Austin HB (#8138) sofa. The one I have been able to sit in has standard core cushions. They feel very soft to me, and I feel as if I sink back into the sofa, making it challenging to get off the sofa. I'm wondering if getting extra-firm seat cushions would help this? I've sat on a Rikki sofa that have the down fill cushions and they feel more firm than the standard seat cushions. I'm also wondering if ordering extra full back cushions would also help that sinking feeling.
Any advice on cushions would be greatly appreciated. I've read the H & M Cushion thread, but was hoping for any specific advise for the Austin sofa.
Thanks!
Yes, go extra firm Q21 in the seats and leave the backs standard. Most the customers I have that order extra full backs in any bustle back unit usually are not totally pleased with the feel.
