Default Hancock & Moore #7039 Journey Lounger in Brigade Saddle

Below are the specifications for our chair that we got in June. We just love the Brigade Saddle leather. It is thick, it easily marks because it is not treated and it's developing a nice patina as well as softening into a comfortable, worn, bomber jacket feel. We did look at other similar leathers and I attached those samples as well for those folks looking for leathers that are similar. My husband who is 6 feet tall complains that the nails on the bottom where his ankles hit the recliner hurt so he puts a lumbar pillow over the nail heads when he is reclining in the chair. I don't have that problem and I am 5'7".

I'd not go through life putting a pillow over the nail trim on the footboards myself. Hancock and Moore will be glad to modify that footboard and remove the nails if you like. There are only four screws holding it on so you can easily remove it and send it to H&M with that request and once they pull the nails off, they will also remove the gimp and replace it with a new piece so you would not have the nail holes visible. I doubt they would charge to do this, however if they did it would be nominal. Option 2 is have a whole new footboard made without nails and you can swap them out as you like.

That's a beautiful chair. I really like the way the reversed gimp looks. It creates a nice contrast line but blends perfectly. Very nice!
