Default Hancock and Moore Anderson Sofas in Hyde Park Merlot

We received our two Anderson sofas about a month ago and I finally had a chance to post the photos. A little background: We were looking for a comfortable, classic but updated traditional style sofa and loveseat to replace our previous models which looked a lot like the H&M Austin series. The old ones were so comfy but were worn out after 25 years, and we were ready to change styles. After a lot of research, hours and hours perusing this very helpful furniture forum, and Duane's patient guidance, we decided our room could fit two smallish sofas--in the end it was less expensive than doing a modification to make a loveseat from a style that didn't already offer a loveseat size. The leather we selected was Hyde Park Merlot. We did a cutting for approval order, which gave us more peace of mind as these leather hides and finishes can vary. We were looking for something in the rusty burgundy color spectrum as we wanted to coordinate with our existing furnishings. The leather color turned out perfectly--not too red and not too brown. The sofas are amazing! They have wonderful details that I hadn't even noticed on the H&M website photos like subtly-flared end seat cushions and curves on the bottom corners of the sofa and on the front of the arm panels. Love the sofas! Sun Delivery did a great job and they arrived safely. There was good communication from Duane and Sun Delivery both. We were very pleased with the whole process and wouldn't hesitate to order again!

Beautiful Photos - those are outstanding. Thank you for sharing, it really helps out folks in deciding on a purchase down the road.

One of the things I love about the burnished leathers is if you get a nasty rub mark or scratch on them, a little hand lotion rubbed into that area will make it look like new again. The burnished leathers are not only handsome, but very tough in service, just don't let direct sunlight take the color out of them and they will last decades.

Thank you for your business! Glad it all went well - Duane

Those look very nice, classic, elegant, but casual enough you actually sit in. Enjoy!

Hi, we are considering the Hyde Park Merlot on a 5067 Tavern Sofa. Would appreciate knowing which nail trim is on your gorgeous HM Anderson Sofas. Hard to tell from the photos - maybe the small Truscan nail S as they have a very tight spacing.

    Thanks,
    --Ralph

Thanks Duane, originally thought it was an "S" or an "A." Just for my own knowledge, is the AA just a smaller nailhead?

The AA nail is the larger version of the A nail. You can see all the current nail trims offered here at the link, click the photo three times for the best picture.
