    Default H&M barstools

Hi All - Found some H&M Barstools at a close by craigslist ad and was thinking about checking them out. Poster is asking about $300 each. Any idea what series these were or what would be a good price to consider? Thanks!

Pristine rich caramel Hancock and Moore swivel counter height bar stools.
These were originally each $1300 at purchase. The three were a special order and the wood and leather are the highest grade offered by H and M. Very minor imperfections--see pics.

There is a little wear (not a huge deal to us since we have kids). Above pictures have some spots where the stools hit the counter it looks like and some scratches on feet.

Those are older units as that deck label hasn't been used in about 12 to 15 years. Marks can be touched up, that's easy. That's the Watson Model, it's been in the line a long time. A new one would start at $ 1,100 + depending on the cover and the dealer. These are rock-solid units and can take a lot of use/abuse. They are stronger and more durable than any other barstool I have come across short of an all-metal one. They appear to be lightly used. I think they are worth a look.

Thanks for the feedback Duane! Didn't realize that they were manufactured that long ago - looks like they have held up well and speak well to the construction quality of H&M. Should we go see them, is there anything in particular we need to be on the lookout for? Swivel function should feel smooth with no grinding, etc?

Even if swivel mechs grind, they are not expensive to replace. You'll see instantly the condition they are in, I'm sure. Good luck.
