    Default Lane Brutalist Drawer Slides

Good afternoon, hoping someone can help. I have a Lane Brutalist bedroom set, and I desperately need the drawer slides. I have what feels like endlessly searched online and have found nothing. The pieces I need are the center mount metal slides with ball bearings. I am missing a few of the pieces that hold the ball bearings so I can’t just “fix” the pieces that are there. I checked Lowe’s, Home Depot, and the internet for center mount slides, but it appears they all need to be screwed into the bottom of the drawers, and you cannot screw into the bottom of the dresser drawers. The original ones basically have an “L” on the slides that screw into the back of the drawers. Also I’m only finding center mount slides that hold only 35lbs, and these drawers are almost 35lbs without any clothes.
I checked out a Broyhill slide and it appeared to be the same too.
Sorry for rambling, any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Your first step would be to call Lane Furniture Company and speak with them. Don't use email, telephone works much better. Since you know the maker and the series, you would have a high probability that they would be able to assist.

Well, here's the thing - the person that answers emails at most these furniture manufacturers is the lowest tier person in customer service, because NO ONE wants to do it! They are usually about 25-years-old and been there about 90 days and know very little about the company. So of course you're going to get that kind of answer - which is why I said in my first post "don't use email", because I know it doesn't work. You need to get back to the right person and that requires a bit of finesse on the telephone and some patience, along with asking nicely. Remember that furniture makers are there to service dealers, not consumers - so manners are big in convincing someone there to help you out. Always call before 3 p.m., too. Good luck.

If you have no luck with them, look for 'heavy duty' drawer slides and look for some that look similar. I have seen slides that claim up to 500 pounds so you should be able to find compatible ones. If you haven't already, measure the ones you have both extended and collapsed so you know the right size to look for to narrow down the results.

Also check into Woodworker's Supply, they have quite a few slides to choose from:
