    Default Stanley Furniture Curio

    Hello,

The photos below are of a curio that I found today. Inside the drawer was the Stanley furniture logo. Doing some Googling, I was able to determine (I think) that this piece would go with the 20th Century Italian Neoclassical Collection. However, I haven't been able to find a photograph anywhere on the internet of another one like it, nor have I been able to find any sort of guide as to the general manufacturing time-frames of the Stanley Furniture collections over time. I was wondering if any of this information could be verified, even if only using Educated Guessing

To note: The photo of the serial/model number on the back of the cabinet has been damaged, or is faded. To the best of my ability it looks to read, "8244 26 FRUITWOOD" but it's entirely possible for those "1"'s to be "4"'s, or for that "6" to be a "C" but i wasn't able to find much on that part either.

Thanks for your information in advance!

That's a 20th Century production piece of no particular collectible value. Buy it if you like it and have a use for it.

Thank you very much! You'll never believe I actually picked this up from the curb while I was out driving today. Aside from the wear on the bottom, and one fitting that's damaged, it cleaned up incredibly well and looks great in my dining room! Based on the pricing of the other pieces I browsed through on the internet today, when I'm done re-finishing the base I'll have one of the nicest "curb finds" I think I've ever seen.
