How many companies will make you a custom wood frame in today's market? Not many...but Hancock and Moore will. This chair made for a customer and he requested a hand-rubbed walnut frame to go with his Yachtsman rocker in walnut (posted previously). As long as you are not in a hurry, H&M can do this. Note that the hand-rubbed walnut is not a covering stain, but a pure aniline, so you will see things like the finger joints in the back leg frame that are normally not visible in a standard finish. Leather is a pure aniline GR 3 "Fresno Saddle" and L nail is the trim. This was done with the "A" quilted back (Anna) and is different than the quilted variant shown on the H&M website. Sharp chair, so stylish. Few makers attempt a frame this bold, it's hard to make. There are not inexpensive wing chairs and never go on the deal programs because of that. But..wow...what a chair.
