Hi All-

I inherited this coffee table from my dear, late grandmother, who was born in 1922. Yes, I'm thinking about selling it, because I'm moving and downsizing, but I'm not really after a revelation that it's a unique, valuable piece. I'm interested if I can learn anything about what decade it might be from, or any other information or "hunches" about it's type/origin, etc.

My guess is that she and my grandfather might have purchased it after the war in the late 40's or 50's, but I'm not sure. Some of the lines (particularly in the legs and maybe the hardware) look more 60's-ish to me. No identifying marks I could find.

Separate from this table, I also inherited from her an interesting set including a desk, dresser, and night stand which have a faux-woodgrain plastic veneer on tops, which are actually quite stylish (IMO), which I am using and not selling. They are marked "STANLEY", and the logo looks a lot like the Stanley tool logo. I can only imagine that they bought them at a Sears or something!

Any thoughts on this coffee table?

Thank you!
Jeff Z.
