Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone had some experience with these? Might be looking for a stop gap set while saving up for a set of H&M Steele Stools. Any idea what a reasonable price would be?

Description:
Set of six Kravet Berlin counter stools with squared backs, decorative square cutouts on back of stools, vegan leather upholstery, brand manufacturing labels under seats and nickel heel plates at stretchers. These are commercial grade barstools made by Hooker Furniture Company. Very high-end quality furniture. Purchased for a bistro area and barstools came in wrong height.
Barstools originally priced around $590 each. Will sell in sets of 2, 3 or 6.
'Vegan leather'? What is that?
If you are just looking for a stopgap, I would go for something cheaper and put the extra cash toward your savings for what you really want rather than spending $1,000+ on something disposable. If you really like these and they actually paid $600 each and they are new I would offer half that ($300). If you buy four or six you have more negotiating power and could offer $1,000 or $1,500. Just make sure the $590 is not the MSRP since it is typical to buy furniture for 50-60% of MSRP.
From what I can tell, it's a really fancy way of saying not real leather /grin
I believe it's these (https://www.kravet.com/berlin-h3811-...ct-information)
"Vegan Leather" is Vinyl.
All vinyls are plastic.
Plastic does not degrade in landfills, cowhides do. So, for those that REALLY want to be environmentally conscious, the leather is a better choice (and it will last longer as well)
