I don't buy sofas in GR4 leather for display, they're too expensive. However Hancock and Moore offered a special on GR 4 Markle - their finest Italian hide - for floor stock to buy it at a grade 3 price, which is about a 20% discount. SOLD. What frame to put it on? I didn't have a button-tufted sofa in the store, so let's do that. Here's the result, and its glove soft - softer than any leather you have ever touched in upholstery - and sits like a dream. I used Ebony finish on it, and Pewter Nails.
