Default Hancock & Moore 7162 Cabin Lounger in Boston Dune with custom Walnut frame

Hancock and Moore # 7162 Cabin Lounger in Boston Dune Leather with a custom genuine Walnut hand-rubbed frame. The recliner that doesn't look like one! It will sit surprisingly well and I sell quite a few of these once clients try it out in the showroom. The standard frame is maple, available in a variety of finishes. My customer wanted a custom Walnut wood frame (one finish only, as shown) and Hancock and Moore made it for them. Notice what a nice job they did selecting figured wood for the primary horizontal beam. The custom charge was reasonable and it did add a few weeks to the build time, but well worth it.

The walnut looks pretty nice, good color combo and seems like it should come that way.

Walnut costs about 3x more for the wood than maple at the sawmill, so I think they don't do it standard to keep the price down. It was only $ 250 additional to get the frames done in Walnut, so I thought that quite reasonable.
