    Default help identifying a maker

I bought this table because its so unique looking to me. It has a stamp, but I can't find any info on the name when I research it. I believe it says Felix Charles. Any one seen or heard of this before? Or any ideas/info on this table?

I'm sorry, but that may be the most bizzare table design I have seen in three decades of bring in the furniture business. What is the purpose of the little galleries below the top? All I can think of is you but some Ken and Barbie dolls on there as if they were on balconies overlooking a crowd? Or perhaps line your beers up for quick access? That sure is an odd one. Well, good luck with it.

My first thought was a game table and that is where you could keep pieces and things. But then it is kind of small and if you pulled up chairs you'd just smack your knees on those cubbies. A weird one for sure.

I agree it says Felix Charles and I think they were a furniture maker in the second half of the 1900s. I found some references to Felix Charles windsor chairs.

Ooooh, I like guessing games! My guess is: books. Maybe the table is supposed to sit between a couple of reading chairs.
