I am back for help after suffering some decision paralysis on the leather choices for barstools. I ordered some samples and decided to go with unprotected, looking at:
Equestrian Saddle
Cameo Bone-Grey Burnished
Cameo Tan Burnished
Hyde Park Tan Burnished
Cabrini Toffee
Cabrini Saddle
But I sure like the hand of Nirvana Clay, even though it’s color may not be quite right with my medium cherry cabinets. Is there an unprotected that feels a little softer than those on my list that’s practical for bar stools, which I assume excludes Capri and Quintessence? Are there other samples I should try? Is there a stand out leather to focus on? Thanks for any input you can offer.
Equestrian has been dropped by its producing tannery, so if you get a swatch it’s subject to existing inventory they have.
All your picks are good, I’d pass on the super-luxe leathers for barstools, you’re right where you should be.
