Advice on Counter Height Stools, Please

First, I can’t thank Duane enough for advising on a den remodel last fall, including an Ashmore Sofa and Campaign Ottoman in Weston Cane Burnished. As you can see from the before and after pictures, the sofa is stunning and I took your advice on most everythinng (TV stand, rug, wall decor). I’ve still got a few things to do, but I’m getting there.

Now I’m looking to replace 4 counter height barstools. My old ones swivel beneath the counter to avoid the problem of banging the sides. I like the looks of the Steele stool, but wanted your advice on style, covering, wood, nails, etc., and if you recommended Steele as you have to others, can H&M lower the backs slightly to swivel below my 35” counter?
