Thread: Flair, roll arm sofa

    Default Flair, roll arm sofa

Hello. Long time ago we bought some furniture from my now least favorite store, Rooms to Go, but one of the items was a couch that I love so much and haven’t been able to find anything like it. The reason is its slightly tilted, flared roll arm, which enables me to read for a long time and do my writing as well. Most of what is on the market nowadays is the millennial, modern style where everything feels like a box. Is there hope I can ever get a couch identical to the one I’m sitting on now? It’s deep but not to deep, and so my back gets excellent support. At the the same time, I can turn around and stretch my legs and read and read without any soreness as I might experience from the extra deep sofa, Emory sofa, that we got from Arhaus. Any advice or suggestions please?
    Millions of thanks to you.

They are out there, however Chesterfields are difficult to produce and require a substantial amount of hand-craftsmanship to do them correctly, only the master upholsterers tackle these builds. The best of that style is from Hancock and Moore, they build the best of all the Chesterfields and they are made in Hickory NC. Yes, they cost more than Rooms to Go and Arhaus, but these are lifetime purchases. Here's one similar to your current one by them. The Teton, and this one sits terrific, I have had several in my store as floor models. It's a large sofa, and requires a 35" door opening to get into the home.
