Thread: Great grandparents table

    Default Great grandparents table

I am trying to identify a table which belonged to my great grandparents. It is stamped as being built in Nov of 1954.

Any help with identifying possible make etc would be greatly appreciated.

No idea of the maker, however it’s a production table and looks like it has a veneer lift on the one segment. It’s value is that it’s part of your family history, however it has no marketable value to someone else.

    Hi, JDinATX.

It might be a Duncan Phyfe dining table. Do a search and you'll find lots of info and similar for sale. I'm seeing asking prices from $1,900.00 to more than $3,000.00. I have a friend who has her grandmother's Duncan Phyfe dining table and chairs and it really is a beautiful, old set. Lovingly cared for. Eye of the beholder, right?
