    Hi Mr. Collie - thank you again for your guidance. I have connected with Stickley and thankfully they are assisting. I just want to check - it sounds like the wear on the welt trim you would consider normal (on the basis of all that you have taught me about finished leather above)?     Correct, you are going to get friction wear on welt trims, especially painted finishes and if you wear a lot of high-friction blue jeans while using the pieces. Good luck, Stickly is a classy company, I figured if you got the right person they can help you out in some manner.
