Default Hancock & Moore # 7131 Sundance Recliner in Lambskin Walnut

Here's something you will rarely see, a Hancock and Moore recliner (Sundance model) done in Genuine Lambskin (Walnut color). The reason you won't see this is because they are breathtakingly expensive, this one is over $ 6K with battery power. Lambskin is far softer than any cowhide and - being from lambs the hides are not large, so they have to be seamed. The master craftsman's at H&M do their usual job of perfecting matching the numerous panels to together as you can see in the photos. This client came in the store and knew exactly what he wanted, and was not interested in any of the 400 cowhides, he wanted Lambskin, and few upholstery makers work in it due to its rarity and skill required to make pieces from it.

Wow-Wow-Wow! Duane, that is incredible. I showed the photos to my husband and we're wondering:

    1) Is the lambskin more prone to stretching with use?
    2) Is it fragile?
    3) Are the maintenance requirements and/or products different when compared with those for cowhide?

    What an interesting looking piece.

Actually no, its less prone to stretch as the hides are smaller
Yes, its more fragile. Not super fragile, but don't eat pepperoni pizza in the chair
    Same cleaning requirements.
H&M is dropping all Lambskins however. The customer that bought this chair called me the same day to order another but there was no leather in the Walnut Color and they can no longer get it. So, they *may* be some left in other colors. Only Lambskin Stone is left on my sample handle.
