Hello! I recently bought two used H&M sofas for $1500 together. When I got them home, I realized that the cushions have leather paint on them, and whoever did it was not a professional. They feel slightly sticky and I can see brush marks in some places. Also there are some areas that feel rough, like they painted over some cracking. Are the sofas worth taking to get repaired? Or should I just try to resell them.
Those ar old H&M Austin series sofas, back when you could option them with a one-piece back which almost no one ever did. Appx 20 years old, give or take. Cracks cannot be repaired, if painted over then it will be very temporary.
