Leather versus hydrogen peroxide HELP!

Hello Community!

I have a fixed circumstance where my business needs to disinfect through fogging everyday. My business has black leather chairs and sofas that get hit by a disinfectant primarily containing hydrogen peroxide (The ph is roughly 10) -- we can't switch this disinfectant.

The problem is I feel there will be long term damage that I'm not aware of. After Fogging, it is not uncommon to see black dye on a rag when wiping chairs with water or some sort of cleaner but when wiping with a dry rag nothing comes off. I really don't know what information is needed to solve this. I barely know what kind of leather (if it is even leather) we have -- how can I determine this?. All I know is that leather is acidic and the solution we are disinfecting with is basic and mixing acids and basics don't really come out well as far as I am aware for leather. Is there some sort of protectant I can put on the leather that isn't wax based (the disinfectant seems to loosen up wax).
