Default Look what’s in the Oval Office

NBC did a tour of Joe Biden’s Oval Office. I identified the chair immediately. 99.5% sure.

Hancock and Moore has made several chairs for Presidents, but they keep it very quiet. You can have one just like it!

This shows the chair pretty well at about 00:47. Wish they would take down the darned banner. But the chair doesn't look new based on the puddling in the seat. I wonder if it is a chair from the "archives" or one he brought with him instead of a new one. If links are not allowed and this is a faux pas, please just delete the post and accept my apologies.

I would agree, that's a well-used chair. I'll have to make a call and see if they are making anything for the Oval Office.

There are some of the riot videos that show congress offices that I noticed looked like H&M chairs too. It's odd the things we notice.

    7th picture here. I can't find the videos. (https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/07/us/ri...rnd/index.html)

Yes, those all look like H&M chairs in that Capitol mess, they do buy quite a lot of them (I sold the White House (73) various H&M chairs during the Bush II administration).

The GSA person I worked with during that buy says they only purchase Hancock and Moore office chairs because 1) They are made in the USA 2) They are the most durable and longest-lasting of all the office chairs in their experience.

Point of fact, they will only buy the entry level leather on any order (GR 1) and won't look at any upgrades because they tell me it's not the best use of taxpayer money to go beyond GR 1.
