That sucks Duane, I am glad you two are safe. I hope none of her antiques were too damaged.

Man Duane, when it rains it pours Very sorry to hear about your mother and the accident. Covid is not something I'd wish on anyone. My wife is recovering at the moment and it's challenging enough to fight off in her middle ages and my kids feel the emotional loss isolating from her. I hope that you'll be able to say goodbyes using technology. Chin up buddy!

Duane - Oh, my word! Dan and I often recall our trip to Tennessee in your lovely Ford van as well as your generosity in lending it to us. Such a shame to see it totalled but we're glad you walked away from it. I hope the missus has roadside assistance.
We miss visiting with you at the store. So sorry you're having such a terrible week. Rest up as best you can. (I probably met your mom back in the day! She created a lovely shop and entrusted it to good hands.)
You all will remain in our prayers.

Thanks all, just one of those weeks we all have once in awhile. I'm fine, just stiff and sore. Probably won't replace the Transit Van, just use the larger truck for local deliveries.

    Duane,

Not sure what the latest update is re. your mother, but you may want to speak with the hospital medical staff about whether she's a candidate for any of these COVID treatments:

    Best wishes to you all.

We had just finished and my wife went home in her SUV, and I took I-95 back to the warehouse to unload her stuff. 1/2 mile from the exit, the traffic was stopped and I was hit from behind about 40 mph, which shoved the Transit into two other vehicles in front of mine. Four car pile-up that took an hour and 15 minutes to clear. My truck is totalled and I can't get the stuff we cleared out unloaded from it, the doors are all jammed and the truck is not driveable. Cherry on top, my wife had a flat tire on the way home.

Been a rough day, can't catch a break.

She passed away on 02/08/21 Monday, one of the 500,000 deaths from Covid-19. I have been working on her Estate as well as funeral arrangements so that's why replies to inquiries are taking longer and the phone is going to voice mail more often than usual. THANKS for all the kind words.
