    Default Motion Your Way Sofa

We are considering ordering a motion sofa and a non motion loveseat in Capri leather. Trying to decide on arm style and base style. We specifically like the Westwood and Sundance arms. Does anyone know if the sides will have tufting with these arm choices? Also, what the back would look like? We also would like to know the arm height of each if anyone has that information. With respect to the bases, does the bun foot have a larger area in contact with the floor than the round foot? I ask because we are wondering if the round foot might cause an impression in our wood floor since the sofa is so heavy. Anyone know how heavy? Thanks 😊

The Your Way Motion Sundance and Westwood get two button tufts per side, nothing on the back. See here:

Arm height is on the spec sheet, 26"

Contact area on the floor is the same on all legs, they all ride on octagonal nylon glides, the wood foot itself is not in contact with the floor. You will not get impressions into the floor as long as its not soft pine.

If you are concerned about dents, which I have seen on some of the fake-wood type flooring planks, I have had good luck using non-slip pads. Ones like this:

They help keep the sofa from sliding every time you get up and press the back of your legs against the front if you have a slippery floor, and they spread out the load a bit.

Thanks for the information. We currently have felt pads but will keep this in mind.
