Duane, I like the feel of that one. I don't like the slick feeling leathers at all-some of the more expensive oned have that texture too! its juts not for me-this one seems soft to touch & and as I heard someone say "kind of Pebbley" it has a nice texture. I like that type of texture.

First I made a pricing error...whoops! I ran that one hide as a class 3, and its now a class 4, please forgive me. So, here's the current pricing on the 524-95 Sofa by leather grade (there are no grade 1 leathers in BY)
Grade 2: $ 2,169
Grade 3: $ 2,309
Grade 4: $ 2,449
Your original pick was a Grade 4, the 9774-85. I went through the rack today and keeping in mind your comments above came up with two others:
9335-85 (Grade 2)
9531-87 (Grade 3)
If I were buying a B-Y sofa, I would lean towards selecting the 9531-87 myself. Its a very rich, luxury brown color. Since I know you don't live close to any stores, PM me with your home address and I'll get some sample mailed to you so you can see the three hides above.
Any of the three leathers are going to make for a great piece, there are no bad picks in those.
