    Default Leather matching help

I am not sure if this is the right thread, but I need help figuring out what leather code or color this Bradington Young Newman Sofa is that I bought from someone on FB marketplace. Attached is a picture of the tag and of the couch. Also, the back attached pillows are separating from the back leather where they are sewn together, is this hard to have fixed? The couch is only 2-3 years old and looks great.

Call Bradiington with that SO # on the tag and they can tell you the leather in the build.

I can't tell where that damage is located and cannot see if its a thread separation or a tear in the hide. However, if this is NOT on a removable cushion, then yes, its a big deal to fix as the cover has to come off the piece in 95% of the instances. And that means pulling nails and re-nailing with new ones - never fun or fast.

Yeah it’s where the back cushions are sewn to the couch, just a bad design. Each cushion is coming away at the corners from the couch. When you recline your back is pulling down on the back cushion causing stress along those top seams.

You can try an external stitch fix, but they aren't very pretty. Get this and then practice on scrap with it until you can do a reasonable job.

Oh nice! I’ll definitely try it out. This thing was so heavy getting into the living room I would hate to have to move it again to get the leather fixed.
