Hi,
I am looking for a H&M leather sofa that makes a statement in my family room. My style is traditional and I prefer a medium to dark brown leather. A store decorator recommended the Sundance sofa but the dimensions are either too small or too large. I’m looking for a width of around 96” and a seat depth of 23-24”. Would the Your way Y96 be the best option or the Sundance 4716 with a 15% increase in width? Cost and manufacture time are of importance. The sides and back of the sofa will not be visible in my room as the sofa will be against a back wall. Therefore I’d love for the front view to be striking. Any other model suggestions would be appreciated also.
My previous sofa was Bradington Young and it has been wonderful even at 20 years old. We just need something with a larger presence and this forum convinced me to upgrade to H&M. We go for quality and longevity! Thanks 😊
H&M Henessey is a definite statement
West End is classic and will look great in your colors
You don't want to do anything custom if time is of the essence, it will be next Spring before you get it. Even standard production pieces are taking 5 to 6 months, order now and you may get it by end of December. And the cost of a custom Sundance would be very high, because that sofa has a curved front frame and that requires custom steam-bending of the parts. I'd suggest you pass. Customs are never inexpensive.
Your Way series are not distinctive, they are basic sofas and while very good at what they are - they have no WOW factor.
These are my favorites for sofas with some "pop" right now. None are going to be that deep, however.

Thank you for the great suggestions! The West End, Milton, and Emilio would be my top 3 picks. Because this sofa will be used daily, which one sits the most comfortably? I’ve never had the opportunity to sit in a tufted back sofa before so I’m curious about that. The only H&M dealer is 2 hours away from us and their showroom is limited.
Comfort is subjective of course, and quite honestly I don't think H&M makes any sofa that sits poorly. It comes down to cost and style preference mostly. The more complex a sofa is, the higher the price. I like tufted sofas myself, as tufting is an Art and they sit terrific, but you have to decide is that works in your decorating scheme.

Yeah the tufted sofas are surprisingly comfortable, you just have to know they have low backs so there is no shoulder or neck support.
