Buying good quality leather sofa group
I have been looking for a good quality leather reclining sofa and loveseat. The choices seem to be endless. I would like american made furniture. The Bradington-young seven seas ss601 I like, but I have found that it is made in china and that it is not entirely leather. Can someone give me some ideas?
Re: Buying good quality leather sofa group??
The first thing you need to do is look at it as an investment when you are wanting quality home furnishings. With that being said, you need to establish a budget for the sofa and loveseat. If your budget is open and you want to keep the pieces for a very long time, start with Hancock and Moore, Leathercraft, and Classic Leather. If you need to come down a little, try Distinction Leather and Bradington Young. Bradington Young still does a lot of domestic work. Seven seas is part of Hooker Furniture. They are both under the same umbrella that is imported.

Correct. B-Y Seven Seas is a 100 % made-in-China product. They will use leather on the primary seating surfaces and then either Leather, Vinyl, or Split leather on the sides/backs depending on the piece and series. Not my cup of tea, but it does serve a price point to the market.
Best bang for the quality buck in my opinion is the Hancock and Moore Town and Country Promotion. There's some excellent price-friendly items in that group, and its top-quality. That promo is listed here in the LEATHER forum.
