I have recently posted my 2 Hancock and Moore recliners on your site. I am getting some questions regarding the leather that is on it. How can identify what is on the furniture and how do I communicate that to potential buyers.

If you can take good photos of the leather and post them here, Duane may be able to help with the name of the leather. H and M have a wide variety of leathers and they all have a two word name. One is the name of the leather and the other is the name of the color. If you go to the H and M website, and look under leather, you'll see a link at the bottom of the drop down list.
There is really nothing on the recliners that will identify the leather. If you have your original receipt from where you bought it the hide might be on that piece of paper. If not, then the only other way it to look for a tag on the chair with a unique number. Depending on how old they are, their may be a identification number under the seat cushion on the deck, or a production tag on the back of the seat cushion when you unzip the cover. If there is a production number, then a call to H&M will identify the leather. Otherwise, its not going to be easy.
My guess is that it may be Cavalier, or Caress. Probably Cavalier.
