Great Room Furniture Layout Help
Here are several pictures of my current living room. As you can see it is open to the kitchen. The sectional in there now is very worn and needs replaced. I want to keep the what I call "modern rustic" style but it's time to change things up. Everything in this room will be replaced. I still need a recliner for my husband that faces the TV/fireplace. We no longer have kids at home, but I still like the idea of a nice quality lasting sectional or sofa or sofas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! And for some reason my photos rotated and I have no idea how to correct this! Someone please advise if you know how I can correct it!

Re: Great Room Furniture Layout Help
You are using an iPhone for photos, because they all do this! Easy fix though....
After you take a photo with your iPhone, before you store or send it, press EDIT on the screen. Then do a light CROP of the photo, then you can send / save / store it. It will then display correctly all the time.
I'd suggest for the new pieces, you look at some burnished leathers in a lighter color. I think the heavy/dark looks is bringing down the room a little and you can make it more inviting and warmer by going to mid-tone colors. And, not all the pieces need to be the same color, you can put a bit of pop in the room by doing hubby's recliner in a red, or blue, or even green. Start by looking here in this link an stop at all the ones that have BURNISHED in the title and check out the photos.

This would be a nice color in the room, this is Hancock and Moore's Hyde Park Earth Burnished.
