Nice! That one really has a great color pop!
Yes - it definitely pops. But, I like that :) With most of my larger furniture pieces in this room being in a dark-ish brown range, I needed some contrast in the sofa leather. Thanks for all your assistance with the purchase! And, also, the delivery went just fine. The guys were very nice and the only issue was a small nick on one back leg which they colored with a furniture pen.
What a beautiful sofa!! Great color and design...and it looks really comfortable :)
Even the pillows are exactly right--great job!
Thanks! I am loving every aspect of this sofa. But I actually got some different pillows for the sofa - see pic. The others are some I usually keep on a darker brown leather chair. The new pillows are 20x20 and the sofa really needed that size. The others are prob 16x16.
Oooo. That's beautiful! It's fun to see more adventurous color choices! That works well!
Nice! Love the color and Weston is buttery soft.
I am truly astounded by it's design and color too..It is stunning and attractive also..
Oh, why did I have to see your beautiful Lakota????? It is a statement. Just gorgeous. Missed the last chance to buy long distance unless I visit Duane's store. Oh well, for now, probably a good thing. I will post my new H&M hopefully soon. Love it all, but could use another sofa.
Yes - post your new pieces so we can see! Unfortunately the inevitable already occurred and my toddler aged daughter got some (thank GOODNESS) washable marker on it, only a slight line still showing but Duane reassured me it will probably come out over time. I was only a little distraught (understatement). No more markers allowed in that room! (Famous last words)
Patience is the key to stains on leather. Don't overwork the spots with cleaners and scrubbing, give them time to work themselves out which aniline dyes will naturally do. Light, pure soap on a damp rag is good (not wet, do not saturate) then leave it be for a bit. Come back in a week or so and try that again. Folks get in trouble with leather stains when they try to correct them RIGHT NOW and get an arsenal of cleaners after a spot - and that can cause more harm than good.
Permanent (not washable) markers are something you don't want around leather because that is a dye transfer and they never come out.
That sofa is such a gorgeous combination of color and style!
Did you ever get to see a piece in that leather before you ordered it. It ts so beautiful and different, but I don't know if I would have been that brave without seeing a piece before I ordered it. I'll bet you were thrilled once it arrived.
Thank you! I do love it and it still looks perfect a year and half & cross-country move later. Yes, I did order a swatch to approve. I'm very glad went with the brighter, warmer color.
