Robinson & Robinson LeatherTrend

Can anyone provide me with information and opinions about LeatherTrend sofas by Robinson & Robinson? We have the opportunity to be a used one (in excellent condition), but we're having trouble finding objective reviews or information about their quality and construction. The R&R website says the frames are hardwood, but it doesn't say much about the leather itself and absolutely nothing about the spring system. We need something suitable for a family with young children and a small dog, but we can't afford to pay top dollar at this time. Thanks for your help!

Its been years since I looked at this line, but they were producing leather sofas in Mexico. This was before the whole made in China thing took off, and they were trying to undercut the pricing of Mississippi factories. They weren't really a custom order source, most dealers would buy a truckload at a time. Not bad furniture from my understanding. Probably would work out well for your situation.
