New Hancock and Moore Leathers July 2009
These leathers just came in on swatches today. Some of these are not yet available in dealer sets. I have ONE set only for my store at this time and they remain on my master handle and cannot be mailed out, sorry.
Walker has been discontinued by the way.....
OK. Garfield is really nice. I think I may even like it as good or better than Antelope for a grade 3 leather with protection on it. Deep, rich colors, natural leather and a soft sheen topcoat. I'll have to order a piece with it on it.
Fenway is great for a class 2 hide. This leather is designed to look lived-in. and scratchy. Like you see on most Restoration Hardware sofas. Pullup hide, waxy.
The others:
Julia Ashburn Burnished. Just ugly. Guess you can't hit a home run every time at bat.
Aged Espresso Burnished. Just as ugly as Julia Ashburn. Strike 2.
Upton Cafe. WOW! I like this one! Light pull-up, rich color, deep tones, fantastic hand. Hope they add more colorways.
Milan Saddle: This one is wild. A very heavy pull-up (changes to light tone where pulled tightly). Great hand, expensive looking.
I took all photos without a flash, to try to eliminate any bounce. They're a tad blurry.
Enjoy!

Garfield is a pure aniline as far as I know (Have to call and check with the leather buyer), that has a decent topcoat on it. Let me go through some of my spill and staining tests on the samples and report back (Typically I use mineral oil, greasy hand lotion, Vinegar and Ammonia to see what stains).
Good Morning,
I know this is an old thread, but......Is the Garfield pure aniline?
Thanks.

Yes, Garfield is still a current leather and a pure aniline with a waxy topcoat.
