Overly Overdue Review of Duane & The Keeping Room

I've been away from the forum for a while, but am now in need of a new living room sofa, chairs, tables, etc. I have just one place to shop: The Keeping Room. In 2008, my husband and I were building a lake house and I was researching furniture on GardenWeb. I kept reading helpful posts from furniture seller DCollie and then read that he had recently started his own forum. I began asking questions and Duane patiently answered everything in such a personable and timely manner. Fortunately, I only live 5 hours from Duane so I have been lucky enough to visit with him and personally pick out some of my leathers. At other times, he has had H & M send me samples to choose from. We have purchased Town and Country pieces, things from the regular line, and COM fabric and leather pieces that were duel collaborations between Duane and me. My sister also bought custom pieces from TKR. Each one is beautiful piece of American artistry and dealing with Duane is always a pleasure. Even when we had delivery issues, Duane handled them with aplomb. We have discovered a mutual interest in German autos, Deep Creek Lake, and a shared history overcoming serious cancer diagnoses. I am really looking forward to another trip to DC to choose the finishes for our new furniture. Dealing with Duane is truly enjoyable and I recommend him without reservation!:)
