How do I clean furniture with veneer ?

Same as any other wood. Veneer is nothing more than a very thin strip of wood. You can wax it, you can polish it, use oils on it, if you're looking to clean it all the way to the original surface than wipe it down with mineral spirits to get everything off, and add the wax/oil/polish of your choice afterwards.
