Help Buying a Couch

I am new to the couch buying business and am a bit overwhelmed. We are looking for a modern style, upholstered couch in the $1,500-1,800 range. I want something that is good quality as well, lasting 10+ years. We are in big box land and have found couches at Arhaus and Room & Board that we like, but not sure on the quality that these brands offer. The couch is a gift, so we have little flexibility on the price. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks!

With Arhaus and Room & Board you are paying for the name a bit.... Find out construction of the pieces and shop around. I'm sure you can find that look you are after without paying the premium to say...." I bought this at Room and Board" although it has a nice ring to it I'm not sure it's worth the premium of $400-$500
