I thought some of you might like to see the underside of a H&M Austin Power Recliner, so I took this shot as I was putting this one in my store on the hand truck (floor stock model). I frequently get asked if recliners have 8-way hand-tied springs in them and the answer is 'no' to every recliner from every maker. As you can see, there is no where to do that - the mechanism takes up the room of where the springs would go!
