Love the H&M Swivel Gliders
We love the Crosby and Gordon swivel gliders but they aren't so attractive. Has anyone tried making one pretty? For reference here is what they look like:

We have a traditional colonial style home. In our great room we have Sarouk and Heriz rugs with a Sundance sofa and a couple older inherited french chairs. Also have an older Bradington Young love seat in this room and two H&M Sundance recliners.
We want to replace the two older french chairs (uncomfortable and old) with two swivel gliders but we don't want them to be shockingly plain - although we are willing to sacrifice some degree of "pretty" for comfort.
Looking for everyone's thoughts.

You mean like this? Do some fun things with leather and trim, its easy - just use your imagination. Or, post a photo of the room they would go in and I'll make a recommendation

Those look quite nice!
Here are some photos of the room. The idea is to place the little gliders where the two pretty white chairs are now. These pictures are all in the same long room. The older fabric bradington young recliner is already gone. Thx!

Here's what I am thinking looking at your room photos. Take the Crosby (stock photo)

And then do panels similar to this, a textured white/cream on the outer portions and a rich blue on the inside, such as this chair I did for a customer. Really will pop the chair and make it a design statement.
