Think I'm going to grab my camera and head off to the High Point NC Furniture Market tomorrow (10/18/09). Go see what's new at Hancock&Moore, Councill, Jessica Charles, Taylor King and as much else as I can cover in 6 to 8 hours.
Sunday is the only day I can get away, and its about 5 hours each way, travel time. Just leave at 4 a.m. and make a quick round trip - anyone want me to look for anything in particular while I'm there?
Hi, Duane. I'm new to the forum though I've been reading it for some time now. Do you have any Hancock & Moore sofas in your shop now? I have yet to see one in person, let alone sit in one. My husband and I both like the Sloane a great great deal but would be very happy if we could "test sit" in any of their pieces.

I always keep some H&M sofas on the floor. Right now I have the following:
* Sundance
* Member
* Member Apartment
* City Loveseat
* Journal
I have a new Kodiak that will be on the floor by end of the week, and a 8172 Chesterfield that should be here in 10 to 14 days as well that will go on the floor.
I ordered a McNary at Market yesterday as well as a Lincoln Settee, but those won't be here until the end of the year or into December.
The Sloane does sit well, and is a very attractive sofa. Two of our forum members have them on order right now, but they won't be stopping at my store before they get to their homes.

I spent the day at H&M, Taylor King, Jessica Charles and Councill yesterday, with a brief stop over at Leathercraft before heading home. LOTS to report, I took so many photos that I used up the first battery in my camera. I'll make a separate sub-forum for Market Reports on what's new but it may take a few days before I have time to set it all up.
