Craigslist Find: Renaissance (class#2) Leather, Aniline or Protected?
I'm looking at a Hancock & Moore chair on craigslist and the seller noted the leather was named Renaissance Bronze, class#2.
Do you remember if this was a aniline or protected leather? Any other thoughts on this non-current leather?
Thanks,

That's a September series, but I've never heard of "Renaissance" as a leather from H&M and I've been a dealer since 2006. Either that's very old (doubtful - it does look too old) or the dealer re-named the leather. To my eye it looks like Kipling Whiskey, which is a decent hide. That's definitely an aniline hide, however.

Duane,
Thanks for your thoughts on the leather. What would you think would be a fair offer for the chair and ottoman?
Thanks,
Joeyd

They are asking $900 for the chair and ottoman.
