Lexington Tommy Bahama Rattan Chairs good??

I like some chairs from the Tommy Bahama line of Lexington. They are expensive but pretty.
The frames are rattan. I have always thought Rattan was pretty sturdy.

Any experience with their rattan/wicker quality?

We have some relatives who are larger folks and want a chair that will hold up.
